Joker has topped the list for the most complained about movie in 2019 when it comes to the age classification.

The critically acclaimed film, starring Joaquin Phoenix in the leading role, received 20 complaints, according to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

Some viewers took issue with the fact that the film was given a 15 age rating - saying that an 18 would have been more appropriate, while others thought it should be 'banned' altogether.

In the annual report, the BBFC stated: "In 2019 we received 149 complaints covering 70 films, fewer than half the number of complaints received in 2018. 20 people wrote to us regarding Joker, objecting to the 15 classification.

If you don't like the film don't watch it..walk out go home and watch the sound of music instead.

The complaints were not about the film itself, only its classification.

Also, the very same "story" was posted last week on Thaivisa.

It was not worth posting then.

It remains so.

Don't understand!! 20 people from millions who watched it!!

'CLOWNS LIVES MATTER' ????????????????????????????????

No, you don't understand. It was a 14 and a half-year old girl that complained. She was too young to watch it.

She actually wrote 20 letters - but she never got a reply - not one!

In an interview, she was quoted as saying that she understood exactly how the Joker would feel - shunned by everyone!

the other 8 billion people on the planet never said a word......
