Cameron Diaz found 'peace' by quitting acting

Cameron Diaz has said she found "peace" in her "soul" after walking away from her Hollywood career two years ago.

 

Diaz is well known for her roles in films like There's Something About Mary, Charlie's Angels and Shrek.

 

But the last movie appearance of her 20-year career came in the 2014 adaptation of Annie.

 

"I got a peace in my soul, because I finally was taking care of myself," Diaz told Gwyneth Paltrow, on the fellow actress's health podcast.

I just did a google and it seems there are plenty of "bad" photos available

Reminds me more of Cloris Leachman these days. 

Maybe she can star in a remake of Young Frankenstein ????

I wonder if she would gain more "peace in her soul" if she gave away her accumulated $140 million fortune.

Pretty easy to "quit" when the the roles stop being offered.

I never thought she was attractive.

No buns is a deal killer.

Cameron Diaz has always been very beautiful, funny, and talented, but she's always had quite bad acne. Back in the good old days of standard definition, it could be easily concealed with make up and lighting, but when everything moved to HD it became more easily noticeable. You can see it quite clearly in 'Bad Teacher' (2011) and onward, so it made sense that she quit in 2014 or whenever.

Dd she quit acting two years ago (in 2018) or six years ago (in 2014)?

 

Not that I care much about her, but just questioning the author about their math.
