Pathum Thani: Meteor suspected as explosion rattles windows

Many people in Pathum Thani in particular but also in Ayuthaya and Bangkok thought there had been an earthquake yesterday after window panes rattled in houses.

Sanook quoted a disaster expert on Twitter as saying there had been no tremor.

He and others indicated that what people experienced was most likely a shock wave from a meteor breaking up in the Earth's atmosphere.

One expert said that this can happen at any time and not just during meteor showers.

I was watching youtube videos about the riots in Portland and didn't hear or feel anything...

Me neither AgMech, didn't feel a thing and won't ever go back. Born and raised there and left when I was 49. ZOMBIE land!
