Thailand's Immigration Bureau Chief informed the media of the arrest of three Chinese nationals at a house after a member of the public aired their suspicions.

Arrested were Mr Wang, 31, Mr Dong, 39, and Mr Si, 45.

When officers arrived two of the men tried to flee but were detained.

It was discovered that Mr Dong had departed Thailand through Sa Kaeo immigration but had come back via a natural route. Dong was thus charged with illegal entry.

Mr Wang was in front of a computer using the website www.yes888.club. This had obscene still pictures and video and online gambling. He said he was paid 6,000 Yuan to look after it for an agent. He was charged with not having a work permit as his visa credentials were in order.

Mr Si also tried to flee the scene. He was found to have entered Thailand in 2015 on a tourist visa with permission to stay until June of that year but had never left. Mr Si was charged with being on overstay.

This activity of the IB was part of orders from the Prime Minister Prayut Chan-Ocha and DPM Prawit Wongsuwan to clean up Thailand, said Naew Na.

Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang, the IB chief, was speaking at HQ in Suan Phlu, Bangkok, yesterday.

In a word obsessed with selfies, the RTP are right at home. Even small fry are reason enough to line-up for photos as if some major, Red Bull like creature was captured.

Them cops are beginning to look more like the 'imperial stormtroopers' from Star Wars by the day.

One day perhaps they will issue a COVID-19 protective helmet to them :

They must have ticked the box for 'no publicity'

Ah yes the deflection to cover up the other story as to make sure the sheep keep eating the grass.

You know the one about the Thai guy who returned to Thailand from Japan in early July, got tested (negative), quarantined, and then returned to Japan on 1 August only to be tested as (positive) with Covid-19, not only a one off, a Japanese national who was in Thailand also returned to Japan and was tested, yep (positive) for Covid-19 and what are we hearing, what a great job immigration are doing keeping the country safe from illegals, on the PM's orders, "great job" boys.

Just a question, is the 80 days free of Covid-19 in Thailand a bit of a porky then...Shhhhh !
