Most reliable flight to Europe?

As end of amnesty is getting near it is time to plan the trip back to Europe as there are no other open destinations nearby.

Daily cancellations are still very high for inbound/outbound flights, what seems to be the most reliable route/airline to book in advance from Bangkok to any destination in western Europe? (which airline to avoid?)

I suspect prices will skyrocket as planes are getting filled up around the deadline date, so I would prefer to book asap.

The most consistent  airlines are KLM and LH. Try and  use a carrier that has regular PPE medical freight  shipments.

Qatar airways via Doha is probably the most reliable airline at the moment.

Where have you read about cancellations regarding outbound flights? There are no inbound commercial flights, that's why airlines cancels flights that not very smart people bought tickets with. There are outbound flights every week with several airlines, and those will most likely not be cancelled.

Emirates is flying Dubai to/from Bangkok again (but at much lower frequency than before).

Cost of the flights are very reasonable (only slightly higher than before the pandemic).

And they offer free 30-day covid-19 coverage with every flight, which is of course a nice bonus.

Anybody flying Qatar or Emirates will face 14 day quarantines as they both make stop overs in Doha and Dubai which excludes them from free corridor quarantine. You have to be extremely careful where the stop overs are including Singapore and Hong Kong at the moment!

There are not many flight cancellations on European airlines (which include KLM, Lufthansa, Finnair, etc). This will also circumvent the potential problem of transiting in the ME (flights by Emirates, Ethihad and Qatar) . However, take note where you arrive, if you have a further flight to a different European country you may get caught in a quarantine situation, especially if you have to change to a different airline that requires a new check-in.

On flightaware.com you can see the history of any route/flight (just type in the route to see all airlines operating it directly or search for a specific flight number) in the past ten days or so. Gives you a fairly good idea  how reliable each airline is on a specific route and gives additional information on delays, flight time, etc.
