BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's bankruptcy court said on Monday it had scheduled two more days of hearings to consider Thai Airways International Pcl's <THAI.BK> request for restructuring.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia said on Monday that a Vietnamese fisherman died from gunshot wounds after a confrontation broke out when the country's coast guard sought to inspect two boats they believed were illegally fishing.

Flood of plastic waste washes ashore Phuket beach

PHUKET:-- MaAnn Samran, Chief of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administration (OrBorTor), today told The Phuket News that he will dispatch officers to inspect the deluge of plastic waste that has smothered large areas of Layan and Leypang beaches and organise a mass clean-up operation.
