libya 115
SOURCE: Pattaya People: April 25th 2007 A Right Merry-Go-Round Trip The Pattaya police were informed by local residents on Thappraya Road at 4.00 am on 24th April that a fight had occurred and someone had been injured so sent out police to help at the scene. On Soi 9, Thappraya Road, the police were told that the suspect had smashed the 7-Eleven store’s window, cutting his hand before fleeing in a yellow-green taxi meter car. While the police were questioning the 7-Eleven staff, they were notified that an accident occurred on South Pattaya Road where a yellow-green taxi meter had hit a motorbike and fled the scene. Before arriving at the scene they were informed again that the same taxi had hit a baht bus in front of the Montien Hotel on 2nd Road. This time volunteers and patrollers were called to the scene and managed to detain the suspect before he fled again. The driver was Aphichart, aged 29, who had his girlfriend Datchadawan, aged 17, with him. There were three men in the back sea, Mr. Seree, aged 31, who was later found to be the owner of the taxi, Mr. Withawat aged 17, and Kitiporn, aged 18. Aphichart stated his girlfriend was trying to finish with her ex-boyfriend but it didn’t work out therefore he had a fight with the ex. While they were fighting his hand punched the window breaking the glass and cutting him. He dragged all into the car and headed for the hospital wanting to work things out afterwards, but unfortunately had two accidents on the way because of the rush. He confessed all charges and is willing to pay and be responsible for everything that occurred in this right merry go round comedy of errors.
