US CDC reporting 6%

Featured Replies

The CDC has released new statistics that show out of the 160,000+ Covid deaths in the USA, only 6%, or about 9,000 deaths are actually due to Covid.

The rest appear to be from existing conditions.

Sounds like extremely distorted misinformation.

Please provide your source link ASAP.

This is a conspiracy theory topic.

Clearly the OP got his talking point from some garbage source, the kind that calls the pandemic a plandemic.

I asked him to back up his assertion. He refused. Why?

Because he can't.

What I suspect he may be talking about it has that Covid-19 deaths are usually associated with one or more preexisting conditions.

But that doesn't mean that those conditions killed them.

For example asthmatics usually have their chronic condition under medical control and die of something else the majority of the time.

So yes having asthma does make it more likely to die if infected by this virus, but it would still be the virus that killed.

Removed a troll post (OP's refusal to give a link to the source of his information) and the replies to it.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

You actually think they have a legit source?  I fully expect a link to zerohedge or similar conspiracy site.
