Change visas within Thailand from Non-B to Non-B and get a new employer

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I have a pickle on with I'm gathering information.

The outline is this:

I have a Non-B with work permit and just extended for the second year.

I hate my job but have to option on a new employer with better conditions. They could provide a visa upon the end of the year.

I have an ex colleague who recently changed his his non B into a non ED and will change to a non B later. But I can't reach him anymore. He said his found the information on how to do so here. But maybe I'm too stupid to find it, too. (Been browsing for 3hrs now)

So I'm pondering if I could change to a fresh non B within Thailand and get my work permit later or use some sort of tourist visa in between.

Worst case would be to quit now and leave in 3 months and change the visa then. But I'd need to start the project next month and can't handle two jobs at once.

I'm guessing that covid and it's accompanying issues will proceed well into next year. So which would be my best option and how to achieve the rest?

I'll keep researching but will appreciate any pointers or info on that topic.

Kind regards
