Beware all. A Thai friend mailed a valuable parcel to me in the USA by EMS over 4 weeks ago and the tracking still shows it has not left Thailand! And the Thai post office said it would go to the US by EMS with no problem.

Gotta be more specific.  What was in the "valuable parcel"? 

 

There's lots of categories of goods that will get intercepted along the way, if only for inspection and a ruling on whether it's legal to export them from Thailand, or legal to import them into the destination country.  Not to mention UN rules like the one banning some batteries from airline flights.

 

I'd also add that, if you look at the number of flights currently between Thailand and the USA, some delay is likely as the OP's goodies wait for space on one of them if EMS contracts with airlines for air transport.

The guy's basically accusing EMS of something.  That may be defamation, or may be absolutely true.  If he's not willing to share the evidence, he should probably not be making accusations on a public forum.

What does the EMS Tracking show? 

OK, tracking finally showed movement. Arrived in NY yesterday. Relieved. EMS. It took one month.

 

I sent something EMS to US recently. Took about 5 weeks. Due to limited flights things are much delayed.
