The new case is a returnee from India, who brings the total number of confirmed cases in Thailand to 3,445 (507 in state quarantine), 106 of whom are in hospital and 3,281 have recovered and been discharged. The death toll remains unchanged at 58.

As of 10am on Monday, the total number of confirmed cases globally stood at 27,292,583, of whom 19.3 million have recovered, while 59,964 are in serious condition and 887,554 have died so far.

The number of returnees showing positives is a good indicator that tourism isn't about to start anytime soon.
