I'm currently on a Non-O (retirement) that I extended at Krabi in July. The 90-day report is due on 13 September but I have been touring the area for a few weeks and am currently staying in an AirBnb apartment in Phuket.

I just checked with the apartment owner and she did not file a TM30. Instead, she gave me a copy of her owner's book and ID, along with a receipt for rent paid, and told me to do it myself.

Should I do a day-trip to Krabi to do just the report, or can I do the TM30/90-day report in Phuket?

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the response, Joe. However, I just read (on a legal website after doing a search) that I cannot do the first 90-day report after extension using the online method.

'This reporting has to be the SECOND 90-day reporting or later on your current visa or visa extension of stay. This is important. You have to report in person or by mail on your current visa or visa extension once in the past before you can do an online report. If you have not done so, please report in person or by mail this time.'

Is this correct? Do I need to go and do it in person?

It is you first report it does have to be done in person. I was not aware it was your first report.

If you will   be back in Krabi prior to the 26th or so you could do the report then since the are not required until after the 26th (or later if they extend the amnesty).

HI, there is no need for you to file a TM-30 of you staying in the Phuket appartment as you won't be applying for any immigration services at Phuket IO.  In order to be in compliance with thai law the Phuket apartment owner needs to notify Phuket IO that you - a foreigner - is staying at his/her premisses, but if he/she does not do it the burden is completely on her/his shoulders as there is no reason for you to do it when your residence is in Krabi (and a TM-30 of you staying there as your official residence has been filed).
