Single Non-O Thai Child and extension = Expired

Hi,

 

so, I have a single non-o visa 90 days based on Thai child expired and an extension 60 days used in April, also expired now. I do not have 400k in bank. I do not get any letters from my embassy, period.

 

Do I have to leave when the amnesty is over? Or is it possible to extend it again for 60 days?

Some offices have already issued a 2nd 60 day extensions. You could try at your local office about getting another one.

They can waive the one per entry rule under this in the immigration order.

"5. In the case where an alien applicant does not meet the full qualifications stipulated by the criteria herein or in other cases not specified in this Order but a competent officer equivalent to or higher than inspector is of the opinion that the alien has legitimate reason for staying in the Kingdom of Thailand, the application shall be forwarded to the Commander of the Royal Thai Police or an authorized competent officer for further consideration of the alien's application."

Okay thanks, seems like an idea, however, I have the feeling the immigration I have to go to is not really on the same idea. I asked already if I could extend it another time in April and clear answer was "no" and then the officer was offended that I didn't hand him the papers and put them just on his table..., additional to that one copy was missing and he was saying stuff about me to his colleague in Thai which clearly was offending (I couldn't understand much, but some key words were clear).

So, I do not think this will have positive outcome. Well, I will try it next week. I have a ticket already in October to fly out and will just take the risk.
