Temporary visa extension

Dear all. 

 

I've heard that if I have medical report that proves I cannot leave Thailans because of my current physical condition, and the letter from the embassy of temporary stay letter, I can request thd temporary visa extension. 

 

I am trying to book on the immigration website. And I need to choose one of the category of the objective, such as retirement visa extension, tourist, medical...etc.

 

But, I don't know which category I need to select.

 

Is there anyone who knows about this?

I would be very appreciated it.

With a letter from your embassy you would be applying for a 30 day extension.

Which office are you doing it at.

I was planning to go to Chengwattana division 1.

For the extension you want you will have to go to the temporary office at Muang Thong Thani. Appointments are mandatory there.

They are still open but only for long stay extensions and etc.

On the list of extensions (or services) shown on the appointment website there is one for a 30 day extension.
