it appears that this political theatre is at a cost to our health, relationships, livelihoods and economies.we see a no of govts trying to hang this out as long as possible, for their own political purposes or having been proven inept and incompetent time after time wish to be seen to be doing something effective, see UK and europe[death and hospital rates have plumetted but cases are up as they test millions who arnt ill.even if the cases are asymptomatic which is proven to spread it with great difficulty].its obvious that biden will suffer if they intro a vaccine before the election and trump will gain.if it goes thru the 3 phase test and clears its good to go but dont let that stand in the way of whatever political bigotry you harbour

So if we use your logic, and I use that term loosely, you can put all deaths from all Sars and influenza outbreaks on whatever president is in office.

Do I have that correct as your stance?

He's responsible for governor's policies of putting covid infected patients back into nursing homes too, if we use your "logic"

Nothing he wrote said that 100 percent of the deaths are due to Trump. This is not an all or nothing situation. So it's not his logic that is defective.

How many needless Covid-19 deaths were caused by delays in responding? Most of them

You are incorrect trumps lazy cowardly responce to the virus made trump responsible for 10s of thousands of American deaths he is continuing to hold his rallies with the full knowledge (Bob Woodward) tapes of the lethality of the virus around 2.97% that sir in my mind is a full 100% dereliction of duty to protect the American people he is what he is time for change

Wonder if Trump goes to the hairdressers salon without a mask too? That comb over must take some maintaining.

Anyways, should Trump not be elected, the Harris administration might be more successful at handling this.

Do you wonder if Pelosi appears indoors before large crowds of maskless supporters?

I’d trust Trump and the task force more than Joe Biden, a man in adult diapers with an attention span of 20 seconds.

Trump has no influence on the vaccine entering the market or not. Nobody in the FDA and other departments is going to open himself up to potential menslaughter charges, lawsuits and hearings should something go wrong. If it’s safe then it will go into circulation. If not then it won’t.

The pharma companies are indemnified anyway, it’s all about the regulators.

Huh your guy is hosting super spreader events he’s got more Americans killed than we lost fighting the Japanese in ww2 + the 26,000 we lost from the 8th Air Force ww2 European theater +30,000 more dead over and above those totals in 7 months no sir trump doesent follow advice we weren’t born yesterday most of us aren’t rubes

You are making false statements and assertions which should be omitted from your lies here.

Let me say that Biden has always been a grossly dishonest plagiarizing liar. But now he's also likely suffering from senility. It's really pathetic that he's running at all, making outrageous gaffes with every breath, and those close to him supporting him border on elder abuse.

Now anyone blaming 10's, 100's thousand dead Americans on 1 person... how do you find logic in that? Forget about politics, think about the question I just asked. A virus, that started in China and spread around the world infecting millions and killing thousands, how can you logically explain that was 1 single person's fault? On top of that, Trump worked with the experts, he listened and they did everything at the federal level they could to prevent the spread of this virus. A president can only help the states that request help or aid, 10th Amendment. If anyone is to blame, its the failure of state leaders to respond, enforce or regulate properly. (NY-Cuomo.

President Trump is not responsible. Go read the US Constitution.
The response to the (a) pandemic or outbreak is primarily the responsibility of state and local agencies.
Those Federal, state, and local career government bureaucrats in the public health sector are solely responsible for the death totals.
Look at how ignorant the general public is about where the median age of deaths is at. It's 75. The general public believes it's in the 55-65 age range.
That's the failure on the public health sector in educating the masses.
If they educated the masses about the real statistics, they can no longer control the masses by fear and ignorance.

It's good that the voting Americans can see thru what obviously escapes you and most others here and will do the right thing again, at the polls.

I certainly don't seek medical advise from Trump, I consult a doctor for treatment and medication, and so will every America when taking medication and an approved vaccine for covid becomes available. Such nonsense, as expected from Biden.

Tossing childish insult in the best tradition of the incumbent, somehow manages to ignore Trump's own attention span issues. Did you ever know him to keep on topic much?

Trump demonstrated that he can bully certain bodies. He's also setting himself an alibi - 'it's someone else's fault'. Commander in Chief? Only when things go right or can be exploited.

If not his call, why does he make promises, then?

Ignoring the childish, vile nonsense aimed at Biden and other posters.

While it's great that you do not seek Trump's medical advice, some people did and were adversely effected. That's on top of the example not set by the President with regard to masks, social distancing and a whole lot of other issues.

Which Trump do you trust? The one recorded on tape or the one rallying for re-election?

Life is like a bowl of Cherries, unfortunately no matter which one gets picked we always end up in the Pit's.  No winners, and only looser's.  All politicos need to be tossed out, and the war chests they have created to be used to assist the citizens with proper programs where one does not obtain any more benefits then the next.  Yes this post drips with Sarcasm, but all political banter is sarcasm in one way or another and reduces the ability of people from truly rational individuals to raving mad and foaming at the mouth lunatics.

When the US originally formed its union, politicians were on a voluntary basis. It was a no pay gig. Since then, money has corrupted the entire government. Until money is taken out of the equation, there will be no justice, no honesty. Only corporations represented by lobbyists doling out marching orders to politicians who are protected by jack booted military parading as law enforcement. The good news - history books are filled with similar rulers who eventually got eaten by the masses whose backs were up against the wall with no other choices. We're quickly approaching pitchforks and torches.

Obviously Biden is saying this out of pure politics, but it's the right decision.  All we need are a bunch of people suffering spinal cord injuries (myelitis) from a rushed vaccine as what happened with the Astrazeneca vaccine.  IIRC, that same vaccine also got a bunch of test monkeys sick.
