Hello i need options for non-o visa

mine ended end april , got extention 60 days till june then the grace period kicked in till 26-9

now they wont give ,e another extention ( no 400 K) and advice me to ..

1 try to get to the consulate in savannakhet  laos .

2 fly out and see if you can get back in

3 overstay and just pay the 500 a dayt fine ( what if it takes a couple months ) detention deportation

 

now it seems my option is to go back my home country and just wait till it's over

been here 14 years , <deleted> how i get treated

Bad luck mate, same for all of us.

50K for a volunteer VISA through an agent.

Probably cheaper than flying to your home country, then trying to fly back later.

fly back about 14000

can work and stay with friends till got enough for my own place

14 years and you're still on the wrong visa? If you'd had the correct visa you wouldn't be in this position - nothing to do with how you are being treated.

another life upended now because of total and utter nonsense. just stay and take the hit when it comes in a year or so. 

 

there may not be a whole lot left of this planet in a year or so if this stupidity keeps up.

Too late for this now.

 

I think non-o visa holders can get a 30 day extension if you can get a letter from your embassy requesting an extension.  You may be too late for this also depending on your nationality.   What country are you from？

If you can get a letter from your embassy you can apply for a special 30 day extension.

Some offices have done a 2nd 60 day extension. You can try requesting one under this in the immigration order for extensions.

"5. In the case where an alien applicant does not meet the full qualifications stipulated by the criteria herein or in other cases not specified in this Order but a competent officer equivalent to or higher than inspector is of the opinion that the alien has legitimate reason for staying in the Kingdom of Thailand, the application shall be forwarded to the Commander of the Royal Thai Police or an authorized competent officer for further consideration of the alien's application."

no need to do this.  

 

You can pray that they might eventually extend amnesty (late, after they've collected some tea money from this round's deadline)

 

Or you can attempt the agent route.  Somewhere around 50k depending on your circumstances and what you qualify for.   I will follow up with PM.

dutch embassy only give letter if for medical rreasons , and since i don't lie i can't get one

You'd be surprised how much of that goes to agent vs people who actually get the visa done.  (a huge chunk goes to the visa makers).   

if you are not 50, but married and don't work, how did you support your stay all these years ?

I was advised this week by an IO at Kalasin that if I didn't go the 400,000 baht route at the end of my 60-day marriage extension then I could go to Laos, spend 15 days in quarantine there and then do 14 days quarantine when I returned to Thailand. She said this with a straight face.

...and that is why you will be likely be on your way home.

 

Whilst you might think that it is a 'sketchy' visa, others might take the view that it is unofficial policy; in order to allow people who are already here to obtain 'legal' status.

 

Unfortunately, the time may have passed for you for you to obtain a Non 'O' solution. Sometimes you need to be pragmatic, rather than planting your feet in the mud and folding your arms.

I don't know. Just reporting what she told me. Maybe she expects it to be open in two months, but only if we quarantine there and then back here.
