I know there is an option to not hear the 'crowd' noise, but is there a way to watch EPL without the banal, useless statistics, opinions of the 'commentators' so it is like actually being at the game.

Mute the volume! That should create a genuine match-day experience behind closed doors as at the present time, I would have thought - unless, of course, a key component of that particular experience for you is being able to hear the torrent of abusive obscenities which managers constantly shout at their on-field players from the technical areas - as well as those shouted between said on-field players themselves, of course.
