corkscrew Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 A couple of years ago we went to Bangkok's largest restaurant, an undercover series of connecting dining rooms that can serve several thousand people at the same time. Yesterday we made another visit to the restaurant. It is called "Sawang Kitchen" and it is located by the shore at the south edge of Bangkok. It only serves Thai food and I think that I was the only farang eating there. It is inexpensive and the food is excellent. But, you pretty much have to drive there. Parking is plentiful. It is a very cool place. Lots of things to do besides eating.

Anyway, the phone # is 02 849 3191 And the address is: 94/9-12, M10, Bangkuntein, 10150. I suggest you call for directions (using a Thai speaker). It is 56km from our Bangkok home. But. it is well worth the trip as you can spend hours there. Even Karoke and rides for kids. You will enjoy it.
tolsti Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 What a co-incidence!!... I'll do as suggested, thanks
