I would like to know if anybody has an idea when and if the borders are going to open for tourists again? I am new to this forum, so would like to apologise if this has been asked and answered elsewhere.

I would not bet against it.....

They have started some special arrangements for tourist to enter the country on charter flights after getting a certificate of entry and going into 14 day quarantine after arriving. It called the special tourist visa (STV) that is allows a 90 day entry and can be extended for 90 days twice.

A new one is a 60 day tourist visa if you have 500k baht in a bank for 6 months. It also requires the same as above to enter the country.
