When can I get my November 30 stamp?

Featured Replies

I paid for a visa extension and now have an under consideration stamp to return mid-October.  I want to to travel around Thailand and not worry about returning for the other stamp.  When is the earliest I can get the November stamp?  Do I go back on the under consideration date or can I go earlier?

On 1st December ????????

They can be ready earlier you can call there! If they answear phone ! Any November stamp is not yet official!

First you will have to wait for the Immigration Bureau to announce it.

Currently it is just one IO in Phuket who said that this is what will happen, could happen that tomorrow they change their mind again.

False. The Immigration Bureau Deputy Commissioner Maj Gen Pornchai Kuntee announced the news at a press conference at the Immigration Bureau headquarters in Bangkok, which was streamed live on Facebook.

While that's good reason to be optimistic, there have been times in the past when an announcement by one high ranking Thai muckety muck has been corrected, clarified, or just plain denied soon after by another higher ranking Thai muckety muck.

And sometimes, the details that come out in the finished product are a disappointment to those who thought they heard something different in the sneak preview.

Hopefully, the OP can get his stamp in plenty of time to bop around Thailand before Nov 30.  (and maybe apply for a longer term extension that requires 15 days left on his current permission to stay)  But I wouldn't be making any non-refundable bookings just yet.
