Scottish Thailander
Hi Maestro and/or anyone who knows... I had a condo in BKK with both a blue and a yellow Tabien Baan which I sold about a year ago and after selling it I applied and received a yellow Tabien Baan for my new address, my wife's house in Korat for which she holds the blue Tabien Baan. We did NOT do a TM30 then. We then left Thailand and came to the UK for a year and are just about to come back to Thailand and will hopefully arrive for 2 weeks of ASQ prison on Monday, followed by a trip back to Korat. My question is, as am already registered at my wife's address in a yellow book, do I need to complete a TM30 on release from the ASQ and upon getting back home to my wife's house in Korat? Your advice would be appreciated. ST.
ubonjoe
The ASQ hotel should do a TM30 when after you check in. A yellow house book does not exempt you from TM30 reporting. You will need to do a TM30 at Korat immigration to register your new address with them. What visa are you using for entry to the country?
Scottish Thailander
Thanks UbonJoe. Non-O marriage. Is there a time limit on reporting at Korat? 24 hours?
ubonjoe
The rules state 24 hours but it is hard for them to know when you arrived at your residence since you or your wife will be completing the form.
Scottish Thailander
True. Except they obviously could check what date we escaped from the Quarantine hotel If they bothered and tried hard enough. Unlikely I know. Thanks

You could of stayed in hotel that did not report you or stayed with friends or family.
Scottish Thailander
Yes I suppose a not reported stay is possible. Doubt that they would b einterested enough to go to the trouble of following that up. Thanks UJ.
