Trump is a machine gun liar. If he thinks he can get some play out of it. Erase a historic sleaze bully fest of a presidential debate, scuttle the next one. Why not tweet a positive. Defeat the virus, or asymptomatic and he will have his supporters howling and he can proclaim himself UberTrump. Take a ton of hydroxychloroquine or whatever snake oil the Republicans are touting as a miracle cure. it's all a win win if you are sinking in the polls. What do you really have to lose.

 

Trump is also known to think very short term so lets see how it plays. He can always say fake positive tomorrow.

You know this decision on what to rejoice in - its really not about attacking others for their honesty. Its more like a karmic warning - the whole motive of karma to see someone harmed by an action, act, the action actually does what was intended, then finally rejoice in the result - that's a complete kind of karma. Just observing - i can kind of see it as just the result of his lies and ignorance and say - "ah there is a point at which your lies turn into consequences" as a matter of urgency. As for "majority of Americans think Trump is good" its not a matter of opinion. Fact checking matters not opinion and on the fact checking front most presidents of USA lie but Trump its just like terrorism towards the truth.
