Car Spare Parts

The RPM counter in my 1992 Nissan Sunny has just joined the Great Scrapyard in the Sky! Nissan, on Sukhumvit, quoted me a staggering B.13500 for a replacement. No way Jose! Does anyone know of a car scrapyard where I might find a Sunny and buy its RPM instrument?

i saw some big ones in bkk advertising in some of the car trader mags, 02 285 4885 is one of their numbers

The only scrapyard I've seen is on Highway 36 going towards Rayong about 1 or 2 kms from the Sukumvit (Highway 3) end. Might be worth a look. Well before Regents school.

Yeah the scrapyard torngseea is on about is certainly worth a look, he has many parts for older cars, the Thais call him Tom, don't expect to get a smile from him tho !

Thanks guys. A friend recommended me to a garage on Pattaya Tai, Soi Viking. He can replace the RPM instrument for B.2300 so I think I will try him. He's a good mechanic apparently.
