izod10
Brought this topic up a couple of years ago,yes still alive? Resting lower figure is 58, 80 something over 58,when I get moving it climbs to more respectful figure I do take Thyroxine 200 mg,but this increases HR to 78 over what would be of 65 without taking Thyroxine,...but then thyroid problem, TSH would be getting well outside the ballpark figures I post this as at sauna if I go from hot to cold too quickly I faint guys there roast then into cold plunge within seconds, finish me off What I am asking,do I stay on 200 mg daily to keep TSH in balance,or take less to keep HR down, which is the most important? Thanks for relies Edited October 6, 2020 by izod10
Sheryl
I assume you mean you take levothyroxine and 200 mcg not mg? There is nothing wrong with a HR of 78, perfectly normal. You should take thyroid medication according to blood test results and under the care/advise of an endocrinologist. It sounds like you might also benefit from check up with a cardiologist.
