He only needs to copy what others are doing eg Singapore and Taiwan but from very low risk countries.. Bring it on,

Agree there's no need to re-invent the wheel all the time, problem is though he likes the sound of his own voice plus he's clearly a bit dim and doesn't often engage brain before he open's his mouth...

these people actually believe this stuff

no tourist is coming to Thailand to stay in quarantine, there might be a few expats that are willing to put up with it because they got stranded abroad but that's it

and what on earth is golf quarantine lol

It's pretty stupid, that's for sure. Until these quarantine procedures are discontinued, there's no chance of getting any tourists. Even when they are stopped, the tourists will not be flocking to Thailand anytime soon.

Exactly! Very few tourists will come anyway.

And even if they would open the country for visitors from medium risk or even high risk countries, the very small number of people entering will result in a very small risk. If they addtionally require tests before and after the flight, and ask for wearing masks where useful, the resulting total risk from these visitors would be very very little. Tourists in Thailand stay outdoor almost all time anyway, which results in quite a small probability to infect others, too. Beaches, bars (outdoor) and restaurants (outdoor) are very uncritical.

Around the world there were countless people who did not work for 3 to 6 months

because of the virus. These countless people are now just trying to keep from losing

their houses, condos, or other living places, plus their vehicles which unless were all paid

off, still have loan money owing.  These people no longer have the spare money that they had                     to take a trip anywhere.  Thailand and other tourist places will be luck to see 30 or40 percent of the amount of tourists, and those will be from nearby countries where the

travel is not as costly, if it becomes available at all. The dreamers in Thai government or TAT

should try to understand that the virus is a world wide pandemic, and people world wide have been

affected, not only financially, but personally as in being sick, being unemployed, being poorer.

Good Luck on this years high season, and if there are still businesses that have not shut down

completely, be happy about that.     Quit Dreaming!

Geezer

Golf quarantine? Catch Covid while you sink a putt.

"However, all these detention facilities...."

Freudian slip?

"Wellness Quarantine"

Lol whoever wrote this useless piece of info should know, sometimes keep quiet is better to save some face! dam it, this is the absurd!

the tourism not only here but elsewhere is DEAD. stick with local tourism. I am convinced it will never be like before.
