anyone with non o-a extension returned from hong kong to thailand?

I hold a US passport and am currently in Hong Kong. I have an extension of stay until July 2021 of a non O-A based on retirement (visa obtained in HK several years ago and annually extended in Bangkok). I'm wondering if anyone in similar situation has recently returned to Thailand and what process involved. I can find no relevant info on the Thai consulate website. And can someone point me to announcement where non O-A based on retirement as now among categories that may now apply for entry? Thanks.

Like you I cannot find anything about applying for certificate of entry on the consulate website.

I have seen no confirmation of a extension of a OA visa entry being accepted to apply for a certificate of entry. I suggest you contact the consulate about it.
