Extension of stay not cancelled

Featured Replies

I lost my job in June and my employer gave me all the paperwork after cancelling my work permit. I went to an empty CW and the IO flicked through my passport, said I’m now on amnesty and gave no stamps. I always assumed in the current situation this was correct. I now know it should’ve been stamped. I need to apply for the 60 day extension before the 31st. Will there be any issues going back to CW? There will be no record of me going in June, aside from the passport scan on the way in.

When does the extension you have that they did not cancel expire?

If it has not expired or been canceled you will have problems applying for any extension.

October 30th. I plan on having that sorted and going to MTT for the 60 day amnesty extension

If it expiring on the 30th it should not be a problem getting another extension.

Even though it should’ve been rightfully cancelled in June? Do I need to revisit CW or just go to MTT?
