mrfill
At last we'll be able to zoom at high speed from Bangkok and admire the hideous concrete structures that wreck the scenery along with the adorable factories that are planned to follow. A tourist's dream.
allane
The stretch of Highway 1 from Rangsit to Saraburi needed (and still needs) an elevated expressway an awful lot more than what any portion of Highway 2 does.

What? Ubon Ratchatani is hundreds of kilometers away from the future high speed train, on the opposite side of Isaan. One wonder what a bridge connecting Ubon to Laos has to do with the high speed train?
