Hi all,

Quick question, I am irish citizen married to thai for 5 years,

have been using visa on arrival previously as i work overseas as i usually don't spend more than a month at time here.

currently doing 28 /28 so should be ok with 180/60 day rule, doing a visa run is not a problem if nessecary.

Anyhow is it in my interests to get my "foot on the visa ladder", so to speak and build up a visa "history" and get a multi non-imm O.

If I did , is it possible to get the yearly extension , say , after 10 months if i know i will be out of the country at the time of renewal.( which is likely)

thanks

They have been receptive with working with applicants in such situations from previous reports.

You mean with the 180/60 day rule. ??

And would you be kind enough to explain that rule this is and what it has to do with the posters question?
