Switch to marriage extension from retirement extension based upon a O-A Visa at Jomtien Immigration

Just a quick information from today November 3rd. Make sure you have all paperwork required, two copies of every document. What surprised me was the following (See below) that seem to be a specific interpretation at Chonburi Immigration.

Finacials:

I had an Income affidavit from the consulate stating my yearly pension. Not enough, they also require full documentation from the bank , statement for a year , with transfers every month exceeding the 40.000 THB req , copies of your bank book updated the same day as application. 

Marriage documents:

If your wife has change her surname to yours, she need to bring copies of documentation regarding the name change from the local ampur, the documents do not to be updated as the kor ror 2 or 22.

Insurance:

Not required att all, apparently they have asked for previously but not anymore.

Total Experience. Very smooth, the staff were very nice, joking and smiling, as they should. We should have a home visit within 2 weeks , and should prepare to have a witness standing by. 

Summary:

If everything is ok, pick up the extension stamp stamp Dec 3.
