Matthew Perry Confirms Friends Reunion Will Air In March

Friends star Matthew Perry has confirmed that the beloved sitcom's much-anticipated reunion special will air in March 2021.

 

The actor, who played Chandler on the show, posted on Twitter: "Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up."

 

"And that's the way I like it!"

 

Back in February the cast of Friends confirmed that they were due to reunite for a TV special, 16 years after the final episode aired.

I for one enjoyed Friends but with follow ons so often the case , let things be , rarely works , they all moved on , reunited , oh dear.

I occasionally enjoyed watching this, but was quite happy to be rid of David Schwimmer! Seeing as the actors are all considerably older, and the comedy styling of the time isn't appealing now... especially that canned laughter track, I don't see the appeal other than curiosity.

 

Things from the past are usually best left there. How many bad reboots do we have to suffer through?  I'm terrified about the matrix reboot - Matrix 4 (2021); fantastic original trilogy, but there's a new one with Keanu Reeves reprising his original role... He has gained a lot of weight and looks too old tbh.

Is Mathew a blabber mouth?  How is it he is the one that gets to break the news? I'd expected all 6 co-stars would be told to let the cat out of the bag at the same time.

Best fan theory I heard was that it was all a figment of Phoebe's imagination. She was a homeless person looking on into he coffee shop from the street into a world she could never be a part of.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar storyline in all of the star trek variations (I definitely saw it on TNG & Voyager!)

Actually one of my favourite episodes was TNG - "Inner Light" (S05E25) which sort of has a similar theme.
