    Had a sore throat and cough last week gone now after a few days but didn't fancy coughing up 6k for a test and even worse if positive being forced to stay in hospital bed for a month.

Good friend of mine’s Thai mother in law was admitted to hospital with what the doctor diagnosed was pneumonia 3 weeks ago and he has repeatedly asked for a covid test for her as pneumonia often results from covid and has been repeatedly refused due to the hospital claiming she does not have the proper symptoms according to the official guidelines for the test. Read into that whatever makes you happy.

That's been the same story in a lot of places unfortunately.  Yet there are those deniers that say it is not happening and they are testing.

Most common symptoms:
fever
dry cough
tiredness
 
Less common symptoms:
aches and pains
sore throat
diarrhoea
conjunctivitis
headache
loss of taste or smell
a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes
 
Serious symptoms:
difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
chest pain or pressure
loss of speech or movement

 

Pneumonia is not even there. Nice try Doctor.
