Seven policemen stationed at Kiak Kai Intersection were sent for a narcotics test after images of drugs and related equipment found in a police van went viral on social media.

On Tuesday, Move Forward MP Rangsiman Rome claimed on his Facebook page and Twitter account to have found drugs and drugs-taking tools in the van parked in an area where pro-democracy protests were taking place. The photos were shared thousands of times.

In response, police officers who used the van were reportedly ordered to undergo a narcotics test. However, all seven test results at Vajira Hospital came back negative.

The police said several belongings were stolen from the van, including an iPhone, a watch, a flashlight, headphones, a loudspeaker and a radio.

So some person stole personal items but was good enough to compensate them with drugs and paraphenalia for adminstration.

It's all a terrible misunderstanding.

The police had no intention of.…’taking’ the drugs. The drugs were there to be planted on arrested protesters. Which makes perfect sense as everyone knows drug possession makes for a better arrest charge than 'protesting'.

So the police were just following normal operating procedures and doing their job.

Strange - the source link in the article causes a page not found error. Censored?

Smells kinda fishy to me.... van found to contain drugs & equipment yet no positive test on the occupants.. so why was the van there & why were the drugs on-board.... hmmmmm ?

one of the cops in my wife's village area is the local dealer. Maybe that's the explanation.

Oh yeah? I know who should be investigated.

Something smells very fishy here. The drugs were either intended to consume, to sell, or to plant as evidence. In regards to the tests, has anyone heard of any active police ever being charged with a crime, let alone gone to prison? Ever?

Or to Sell ,Got some Dealer and got his Stash. they have to make some Extra money don't they.

The van was transporting 12 policemen. After the scandal the General asked “who of you didn’t used drugs lately? Ok, you can be tested”

Maybe they thought they would be in for a long night and needed something to keep them awake

Yes there was a Policeman who lived near to me ,him and another Policeman

were arrested for transporting drugs down from Mae Sai,for their boss, they

got 25 years, and they did not grass up the boss,as they knew they would

most likely end up dead.but like you say not many.....

regards worgeordie

It's a well known tactic here to plant drugs on people when searching them.

Which is why you should always empty your own pockets, bag etc and not let the fuzz do it themselves.

probably about to plant the drugs on some protesters....

Common police tactic.

They tested negative, so you are rambling.
