Under Consideration

Featured Replies

Currently under consideration for a Non O based on marriage. When I return to Immigration to hopefully get stamped do I only need to take my Passport or do I need updated Bank Book showing the 400k again as well?

Thanks in advance

Some offices want you to have your bank book updated and have a copy of it.

If not sure it would be best to do it in case it is required.

May depend on your immigration office. I recently did my marriage extension at CW/Bangkok....when the IO handed me back my passport with the Under-Consideration stamp she said when I return on the date specified on the Under-Consideration stamp to also provide my bank passbook and a copy of it to prove I still have at least Bt400K.  When I went back on the date specified I did have to provide my bank passbook and a copy of it to get the final stamp for one year.  This was in mid Sep 2020 when applying and mid Oct 2020 when going back for the 1 year stamp.   I would say it's best to still have at least Bt400K in your bank acct.

Korat, no requirement this year. Best to ask.

Thanks guys. I'll get it copied.

Never been asked to show that but I suppose it is worth taking just in case.

No big deal.

Sorry this is a bit off topic but for my 1 year non O i was told to submit all paperwork only 2 weeks before my 90 days is up, is that normal?

Not normal but some offices may prefer that.

If applying at an office that starts the 30 day under consideration period on the day your current permit to stay ends the earlier you apply the longer your wait for your approval.
