webfact
Pet crocodile escapes pond to enter temple, but surrenders meekly By The Nation A pet crocodile of a monk in Chaiyaphum province escaped from a pond and entered a temple pavilion, scaring people who had gathered there. Local rescuers were contacted to help catch the crocodile that was three metres long and weighed more than 100 kilograms. Their task was easier than they expected as the crocodile did not attack humans and remained still, allowing them to tie its mouth within 20 minutes. The crocodile has lived in the temple for seven years with other animals, and has been tamed.
