Phone booth bomb injures a man in Ratchavitee soi 24

An explosive went off at a phone booth in Bangkok's Ratchavitee Soi 24 around 9.20 PM breaking the booth's glass and lightly injuring a man near by.

The damaged phone booth located next to the electric pole near the openning end of Ratchavitee Soi 24. A 22 years old Mr. Prapat Meuangsongchan who was lightly injured said he got off his motorcycle to make a call in the booth just to saw flames flashed off from behind the electric pole next to the booth then he heard a lound bang.

Early police's examination indicated that the bomb had been placed in a foam box inserted in a garbage bag.
