Popular Post HAPPYNUFF
The wifes daughter and son in law and their mentality.. Some years ago I loaned them money to buy a second hand pickup, which the guy uses in his own work shop. (He is repaying me,( slowly) The wife ( my wifes daughter) completed a computer programming course , over a 12 month period, for which she paid several thousand baht fees. They then decided they wanted a new pickup. For appearances sake.. Despite my objections, my wife loaned (?) them several hundred thousands of baht, to pay cash for same. They were offered 80,000 baht for their old pickup as a trade in, but no, the son in law reckoned he could get more buy selling it privately. Ok, now the girl has completed her computer course, was offered a office job, at 450 baht a day in a large factory nearby. Her husband refused her permission, as he states he is worried she might get a boyfriend there, and leave him. So she sits home all day now.. As for the old pickup, after 12 mo nths, still cant sell it, highest offers hes ever got was 40,000, but hes hanging on now for that elusive 80,000 baht... But hey, T.I.T.
Kwasaki
Well I would just comment it was your wife's money and its her daughter, so would just let them get on with it. Personally I wouldn't get involved if they ask again for a loan of my money.
