If my wife and I enter Thailand with a "Non-Imm O" Visa, can we extend it longer than the 90 days we get with it while in Thailand?  If so how long can we extend?

What will your non-o visas be based upon (retirement, family member and etc). 

If 50 or over you could apply for a one year extensions of stay based upon retirement. 

There are not many choices to get a extension of stay. All require a reason to to apply for them.

 

 

You can extend to 1 year when you meet the requirements.  Go to immigration and ask what to do. Which papers to bring. Sometimes you need a support letter from your embassy in Bangkok.

Here's a thought....  Could there be a pinned post (or series of posts) somewhere that breaks down all the details on each kind of visa?  It sure seems like that might be easier/more useful than having multiple threads from multiple people.  (And such a pinned post/posts could be updated as information changes.)
