December 9, 20205 yr If my wife and I enter Thailand with a "Non-Imm O" Visa, can we extend it longer than the 90 days we get with it while in Thailand? If so how long can we extend?
December 9, 20205 yr What will your non-o visas be based upon (retirement, family member and etc). If 50 or over you could apply for a one year extensions of stay based upon retirement. There are not many choices to get a extension of stay. All require a reason to to apply for them.
December 9, 20205 yr You can extend to 1 year when you meet the requirements. Go to immigration and ask what to do. Which papers to bring. Sometimes you need a support letter from your embassy in Bangkok.

I did PM you a comprehensive guideline document outlining all options/details for long-stay in Thailand when over 50 years of age (retirement application). > To access your PM-messages just click the letter-icon next to your Profile when logged in to the Forum
December 9, 20205 yr sdweller, I think JackDD already answered this in the other thread you created on this same topic (Costs of Retirement Visa?) Why the need for another thread? Here's a thought.... Could there be a pinned post (or series of posts) somewhere that breaks down all the details on each kind of visa? It sure seems like that might be easier/more useful than having multiple threads from multiple people. (And such a pinned post/posts could be updated as information changes.)
