What Is The Most Stupid Purchase You Have Made In Thailand?

I bought a barbeque at Carrefour. It was the right size, looked ok, seemed to be built well enough at least by Thai standards (made in China).

There was however one problem that didn't present itself until I put it together and tried to use it.

It had no way for air to get to the coals.

The pan holding the coals was flat - no holes, no vents - nothing.

I feel stupid just for buying it, but what about the idiot who designed it?

How about the company that makes it, or that Carrefour even sells it.

Stupid design, stupid purchase - I don't feel stupid, it pisses me off.

I bought a beautiful Holden Calais Saloon. It has everything and it was cheap.

BUT I can's get spares in Thailand and engineers don't know how to repair it anyway!

My GF told me to buy a Toyota.........
