INN reported that the Thai cabinet has given the green light to the Pattaya administration to change plans for a fixed port on the island of Koh Larn.

Spokeswoman Traisulee Traisoranakul said that permission had been granted to alter plans from a reinforced concrete port to three floating jetties.

Harbor department officials citing water flow difficulties had objected to the original plan.

Now with delays caused by the pandemic and other environmental impact assessments it has been decided to change tack and install the jetties at three locations at a cost of 38,41 and 48 million baht in line with the previously announced budget of 127.5 million under the previous plan.

From the original article

''Therefore, Pattaya City has considered the next three projects that are urgently needed, which are under the plan and the output of the original project, the amount of 127.50 million baht, which is the construction of a passenger terminal leveling area. A buoy-mounted front-of-house boat with a budget of 38.02 million baht, renovating the bridge of the Ban Koh Larn Community Medical Center, installing a floating pier, spending a budget of 41.48 million baht and improving the pier to level Samae beach with a floating buoy installation. Budget 48 million baht''

Still a lot of millions for a bunch of plastic cubes

maybe they have to pick a boo to the real prices before to sign?
