The chief of the Bang Len, Nonthaburi municipal council is fighting for her life in Bumrungrad hospital in bangkok after she was doused in gasoline and set on fire at a house in Bang Yai.

Thai central bank sees no 'material impact' from inclusion on U.S. watch list

BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thailand's central bank said on Thursday it did not see a big impact on foreign trade and investment by being put on a U.S. currency watch list, nor should it impede its ability to conduct macroeconomic policies to safeguard domestic stability.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Domestic car sales in Thailand rose for the first time in 18 months in November, up 2.7% from a year earlier to 79,177 vehicles, after a 1.4% fall in the previous month, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) said on Thursday.

Foreign Phuket hotel staffer dies in motorbike accident

PHUKET: A Portuguese man who worked for a hotel in the Surin Beach area died after suffering severe head injuries in a motorbike accident in Kathu over the weekend, police have confirmed.

Free sterilisation, rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs in Phuket Town

CCSA offers incentives like visa extension to make up for 14 days lost in quarantine

The Centre for the Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced on Thursday that some types of visa have been reactivated, the certificate of entry (CoE) validity extended and sports tournaments have been given the go-ahead.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Two critically endangered orangutans smuggled into Thailand three years ago were returned to Indonesia on Thursday, where they will undergo rehabilitation before being released into the wild.
