BREAKING: Governor of Samut Sakhon has just confirmed a COVID-19 infection in the province. It is a 67-year-old woman, who tested positive for the virus last night (Dec 16th) and the results were confirmed at noon today.

There is low local transmission all the time, especially in highly populated areas.

In Samut Sakhon there are large Burmese population, legal and illegal workers, living in very poor conditions.

They are difficult to trace, in case of infection. They might just disappear if don't have work permit or visa.
