Well done MT , I also had all the pages of my passbook photocopied as well as all stamped pages in my passport even though I had also provided a 12 month statement. ( Ayutthaya IO ).

You can breathe easy for another 12 months now ????

Did you use the LMG Insurance Plan-1 insurance (with 200K deductible) to meet the Thai IO-approved health-insurance policy requirement?

If not which Thai insurer did you opt for to meet that insurance requirement?

Yes, Peter, 6000 THB paid with US cc.  Got the originals in two days, by registered Thai Post.  Still not certain they would have accepted the e-policy... They told me to go copy all of it, and I said just take the originals.. but they did want a copy of my card.  And, there seems to be a new step, where they run your name and then print out a sheet showing you are in compliance. It would have been nearly impossible to scam on the insurance or the 800k (and the balance requirements during the year).  I actually was pretty satisfied with Pacific Cross, and Agent Clarke, but their coverage in the US sucks, so it was better for me to have no US coverage for less money, since I will have to buy a policy for my 4-5 months in the US, anyways.  And pacross only gives you max of three months in the US (don't know about other countries) so that was an issue besides the 35% Co pay for the US, which could easily be way more than paying cash here.

Yes, i had the LMG Insurance with a 200k deductible ( 6000 baht ).

My docs were all checked, and okayed, at the front desk with only the insurance certificate that I received by email.

But the IO wanted to see the policy.

I had the original still in its envelope, the IO glanced at it briefly ( i’m no mind reader but I could see her thinking “ no way i am reading all that “ ) and passed it back with a wry smile, no copies made which surprised me but she had a copy of the certificate, my details would have been in the database and she saw the original so i guess for once common sense prevailed.
