It appears that the Myanmar migrants from Samut Sakhon reported to have been dumped by the road in Bang Plee south east of Bangkok were not abandoned at all.

RTP spokesman Pol Maj-Gen Yingyot Thepjamnong said that all 18 migrant workers had been accounted for after a search.

Six had the necessary papers and the rest are being checked out.

A factory owner is helping police with their enquiries but there is no evidence of a crime having been committed.

It appears that the workers were unemployed and the factory owner was possibly assisting them to find relatives.

They are being quarantined at a local sports stadium in Samut Prakan. It has a wall, said Yingyot.

He urged employers who are concerned about their workers to contact the health authorities.

It appears the BIG brown envelope was involved in this case.

They will be telling us the air is clean next....

That wasn't a punchline by the way, I'm literally waiting for the breaking news of 'Bangkok Smog caused by burmese migrants working 18 hour shifts in thai factories.'

"the factory owner was possibly assisting them to find relatives. " leaving them on a road would be of great help of course.

Story is a joke.

Yes but you found the wrong group of workers. The dumped group are still wandering around somewhere.

Mmmmm............wonder if there is a reliable source?

Since the beginning of time, it's extremely easy to turn on a group of people.  The power of the media.  Imagine if there was covid back, say, around 1940.   lockdown, camps, etc.....oh, wait, that is happening now in China....which is where covid started.  oh, you're burning dead bodies?   oh, ok.   really.

sorry for the dark post today, but i'm sure those in the camps aren't celebration.

The police have about the same mentality as the unelected "PM" and his generals.

Unless his intention is to line them up against it ?

Case closed. The envelope arrived
