December 28, 20205 yr I am just wondering how much for a COVID test for a foreigner? My son is a Thai citizen and has a dry cough, how much is the test for him? Thanks.
December 28, 20205 yr If he is a Thai citizen then he is not a foreigner. free at a government hospital - but not done on demand, only if they think he meets criteria for a suspect case. Which if he has only a dry cough, nothing else and no history of high risk contacts/travel, he might not In Bangkok, can do at Thai travel clinic for 3,500 Baht (Thai or foreigner) https://www.thaitravelclinic.com/FrontNews/covid19-certificate-en-2.html Private hospitals are charging about 6000 baht

False negative, yes But in any case if you test positive a second test will be required - and you will cease to have any say in things.
