No big dill this .. herbs have been used a long thyme ..

  • All those bagging herbal treatments seem to overlook that a vast majority of "modern" magic drugs started life as herbal treatments. But never let facts get in the way of ignorance.

Strengthening or "boosting" the immune system is only desirable when the immune system is weakened. If it's already functioning normally then strengthening it would mean that it starts attacking things it shouldn't be attacking.

It is true what you say but I believe that you decide to take a medicine,  not a medicine if you are not sick, natural medicine is not a food supplement but it is a medicine and like all medicines it can have contraindications

Even some in the control, or placebo, groups, often report miraculous recoveries.

Obviously need to see a lot more studies, but this one looks like a crock.

An amulet might provide better 'protection'?

there is no pleasing people that love vaxx with herbs that are used for centuries even most medicine is ripped off nature, changed a molecule to patent it and sell it 100x - 10.000x more expensive

most here sound like my ex-wife she has the best medical insurance her company provides, every trip to Bumrungrad is free for her

I prefer to live more natural life and hopefully NEVER have to visit a hospital again

Is this the Thai version of Echinacea? I've taken it, and it works. Reduced my fever in just a couple of hours.

Good point. How many guys in their sixties and seventies are taking saw palmetto for their prostate, or ginseng to get horny?

don't you love when people that know NOTHING about traditional THAI herbs come empty their guts how it does nothing ...

It is used when you have fever, to prevent it goes out of control, like paracetamol, but more natural

not a wonder herb

I use it every time soar throat or fever hits me or my children, in conjunction with other known to us things we do to try to get over with, avoiding ANTIBIOTICS like most thai people seem to take for anything & everything

In the same broad category as homeopathy. I went to China some years ago, and had to sit through several hours of nonsense about 'traditional' Chinese medicine.

Very tedious, not a good use of my time at all.
