2020 has been a year full of ups and downs, particularly with COVID-19, but it also sparked a lot of new trends and much more entertaining stuff. Let’s take a look back at some of the “buzzes” that people have been talking about throughout the year.

The not-so-new social media platform which took Thailand (and elsewhere) by storm, where users can create 60-second videos to show off their dance skills, lip sync to their favourite tunes or even mimic comedy scenes, along with hundreds of funny filters to choose from.

Interesting and for reference from today's Cambodian press (Khmer Times):-

 January 1, 2021

TikTok users warned to clean up their act.

Making the announcement on its Facebook page, the IT department said it has observed people using the platform in violation of the Kingdom’s laws and Khmer social ethics. It gave examples of videos with obscene gestures and language, pornographic images, disinformation, defamation and inciting social unrest.

Personally, I will not use TikTok - its Chinese!!

The bee that flew into my fridge after I left the door open wasn't buzzing for too long after .. luckily for him I opened the fridge again 10 mins later to find him semi comatose with hypothermia so took him outside on a sheet of A4 to let the rays of the sun reinvigorate him .. close call that , so if I have a resolution it's not to leave the fridge door open unattended again .. and likewise Bee should make it his N Y resolution to get his satnav sorted out or he might not be so lucky the next time ..
