Minimum salary for work permit

Does anyone know minimum salary requirements for WP for European, OECD countries?  Does it vary by profession or is it standard for all jobs?

There is not minimum salary requirement to apply for work permit.

Only a one year extension of stay based upon working applied for at immigration has a minimum salary requirement.

However, if you are married to a Thai 40.000 is accepted by immigration for an extension based on marriage.

I had to sign a document saying I was making 80,000 a month, and I got taxed on that even when making absolutely zilch ????
