True, and what I was saying was hypothetical. I didn't say they are doing it, but that immigration looking at this event might get an idea. And that more scrutiny is probably likely, based on past reactive actions, but that it might be just from that moment on, or they could go and start digging into the past as far as records go. I remember many years ago a bunch of FIlipinos were caught on the bridge over canal near Platinum Mall... they had visas issued by Thai consulate. Non-B visas. In name of company that no longer existed or never existed... can't recall which exactly. Within a few days, consulates and embassies demanded a DBD letter that company is trading, something that took 30 days to get yet it was demanded immediately. Many people going to Penang at that time got their visas rejected for missing documentation. There were several more cases of over the top reactions like that more recently, so looking at the past record, some additional scrutiny is almost to be expected. Especially in light of the current crackdowns on things that were shady or outright illegal but left alone for decades. All they need is a trigger. And that just happened.
