I went to the revenue department in Chiang Mai as in previous years and submitted the bank tax statements but this year they came up with new procedures again.

They handed me an E-filing form and handed me back all the bank tax statements (original and copy). I couldn't understand their Thai nor English. I went to their website but there's no place I can enter user id and password.

Could someone explain to me what is going on? Why is there an extra step this year?

In past years, it was quite easy, they just sent the check to me via normal post but it gets unnecessary complicated every year.  In the past , I can bank the check in any banks but the last few years, we can only cash in via Krungthai bank via ATM which is ridiculous.

Now there is a new procedure  this year for E-filing?
